1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Symple website (symple.co.uk), platform, and all related services provided by Symple Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Symple provides a property compliance management platform that enables landlords, letting agents, and property managers to book, track, and manage compliance services including Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), EICRs, EPCs, PAT Testing, Boiler Services, and non-emergency maintenance callouts. We connect you with our network of vetted, registered service engineers across England, Scotland, and Wales.

3. Account Registration

To use our platform, you must register for an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Booking and Payment

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. Invoices are issued automatically via our platform. If you require purchase order numbers or bespoke billing arrangements, please contact us.

5. On-Time Guarantee

Symple guarantees that compliance certificates will be delivered by the agreed due date. If we fail to deliver on time for reasons within our control, the service will be provided free of charge. This guarantee does not apply where delays are caused by tenant access issues, property access problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Service Engineers

All engineers in our network are independently verified and hold the relevant qualifications and registrations for their trade (e.g. Gas Safe Register, NICEIC, NAPIT). Engineers operate as independent contractors. Symple verifies credentials and monitors service quality but does not employ the engineers directly.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service price. If a service cannot be completed due to property access issues, we will attempt to rearrange at no additional cost.

8. Liability

Symple provides a platform to connect property owners with qualified service engineers. While we vet all engineers and monitor quality, the compliance certificates and reports are issued by the attending engineer and reflect their professional assessment. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Symple website and platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Symple Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
