How jobs work
What we require all service providers to observe for every job they accept.
Contact the keyholder within 24 hours
When you accept a Symple job, reach out to the keyholder within 24 hours to arrange an inspection date and time.
Can't reach the keyholder?
If you've tried 3 or more times with no answer, click the 'Can't reach keyholder' button in the job details and our team will assist you.
Update the platform once booked
Once you've agreed a date and time, update the platform as soon as possible. This notifies both you and the keyholder.
Rescheduling a job
To reschedule, open the job, choose 'More actions', then 'Reschedule'. Always confirm the change with the keyholder before amending.
Submit digital certificates within 48 hours
All completed certificates (including CP12 and boiler service) must be digital, not handwritten, and submitted within 48 hours of completing the job.
Failed certificates
If a certificate fails (excluding EPC), upload a no-obligation remedial quote alongside your certificate.
Failure to complete any of the above steps may result in a delayed payment for the inspection. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.
We're here to help
The Customer Success Team are here to help whenever we can. You can reach us through any of the following:

About automatic emails
Automatic emails will still be sent to you even after you've updated the team or clicked the 'Can't reach keyholder' button. We're not able to switch these off at present, so we simply ask that you ignore them.
No access on arrival
If you arrive at a property and there's no one to grant you access, please call the tenant while at the property. If they don't answer, contact the team on 0161 883 3452 and we'll try to reach them for you. If we agree there's no option but to leave, please take a photograph of the front door so we can send it to the landlord. We'll first check with the tenant to understand why the appointment was missed, and if it's a genuine reason we'll always ask if you would reschedule. Where no genuine reason is provided, we'll process a no-access fee to you for 50% of the overall cost of the service.
Disconnecting gas appliances
Should you have to disconnect or cap any gas appliance, please let Symple know in the first instance what has been disconnected and what provisions, if any, the tenants have for heating and cooking. We can then inform the landlord immediately, giving them the opportunity to make temporary arrangements for their tenants.
