How quickly can you arrange a Gas Safety Certificate?+
Typically within 3 working days of booking. In urgent cases, we can often arrange next-day appointments depending on engineer availability in your area.
What happens if the engineer finds a fault?+
If a fault is classified as 'Immediately Dangerous' (ID), the engineer must isolate the appliance. For 'At Risk' (AR) faults, you'll be advised of the issue and we can arrange a repair. We'll keep you informed throughout.
Do I need a gas safety check if I don't have gas?+
No. If your property has no gas supply and no gas appliances, you don't need a CP12. However, if there are capped-off gas points, it's recommended to have them checked.
Can you arrange the check on the same day as other services?+
Yes. If you need multiple services (e.g. Gas Safety + Boiler Service), we can often arrange them on the same visit, saving you time and minimising disruption to your tenant.
What about the Renters' Rights Act 2026?+
Under the new act effective from 1 May 2026, having a valid gas safety certificate is essential. Without one, landlords cannot serve valid possession notices or register on the PRS Database.
